Doc Appointment

Yesterday we had our first prenatal appointment!! I was so excited to go, but also very nervous...

Rewind a few weeks to January 8th...when I got my positive pregnancy test I went to Lane Pregnancy center to get "proof of pregnancy" for insurance purposes. They confirmed I was pregnant and then gave me an ultrasound. They found my tiny grain of rice baby and measured baby to be 6 weeks. They then proceeded to freak me out by saying there was no yolk sac and no heart beat. They pretty much told me to expect a miscarriage... I was so upset and scared...

Weeks later and no changes, but I was still worried. Wondering what could be going on in there...

Finally we got an appointment with Dr. Beller yay!! Seriously the most relaxing doctor. He did my exam and gave me an ultrasound. Now I'm really excited because if baby is ok, then I must be about 11 weeks according to the first ultrasound! Dr. Beller turned the screen towards me and there was my beautiful baby. Huge lil jelly bean and a big heart beat! He also found the yolk sac which the other ultrasound didnt show. I couldn't grin any bigger! Dr. Beller took measurements and told me I was 8 weeks and 4 days! What?!?! I should be FARTHER then that! Lol! But alas I'm not..! :-) this happened with Abby too I thought I was way farther along then I was!

So that explains the first ultrasound where they couldn't find the heartbeat.. Baby was like 3 or 4 weeks old then! I am so relieved everything is ok. Even if I have to endure this morning sickness longer then I thought I had too... I'm so happy baby is doing great! :-)

Here comes #2..!

I've been wanting to write for awhile... I also can't believe I haven't written on this blog since Abby was 2 months old?! Well she is now 2 years old and still the joy of my life! My nephew Julian is currently living with us and has been since April 2012... But that's a long story!

I wasn't sure about waiting to post this but no one really reads it anyways so I'm going to post it!

We are expecting baby number 2!!

Yaya!!! We are so excited!! Our first doctors appointment is on January 31. So I'm not sure how far a long I am. According to the online calculators I'm 9 weeks, but according to the people at the pregnancy center I went to, I'm 7 weeks.

So far though this pregnancy has been awful... I've been extremely nauseous...all...day...long! With Abby I was barely sick, just a little in the evening before bed. But this kiddo is making me sick day and night. I'm not eating well at all... Because I can't stomach anything. I can usually have two to three bites of something before I get sick. So lately if I'm craving something then I'll eat it! My last meal was a Starbucks hot chocolate( because I'm giving up caffeine again) and a donut! :-o I know so unhealthy, but it was all I could put in my mouth without being sick! I really can't wait to go to my doctors appointment! I want to know how much longer I have until the 1st trimester is over..! And hopefully when my sickness will be better!
